Meet the Team Behind Civitas Gaming
Here at Civitas, we work hard behind the scenes to create a gaming community that is welcoming to all.
Kyle Edwards
Kyle has been gaming in all formats for over 35 years. Kyle has always had a passion for video games and is a huge board game enthusiast.
Kyle believes that amassing a board game collection is just as much a part of the hobby as playing them.
Stewart Strange
Stewart has always enjoyed casual
gaming, mainly in a digital format. From sports games, to FPS and party games. Stewart has a passion for TCG's and has recently discovered an enjoyment for a variety of table-top games and board games.
Tal Parker
Tal is a very talented artist and avid player of Star Wars Unlimited.
Tal has a very diverse interest in all formats of gaming from World of Warcraft, Warhammer and board games, to a variety of competitive TCG's and also DM'ing all manner of TTRPGs.
How did Civitas come to be:
Our first gatherings lit a fire within us to achieve a wider reach. We talked about wanting to create a welcoming space where gamers of all backgrounds and skill levels could come together to connect and share their enthusiasm for gaming.
From this, Civitas was created.
Founded by three friends, united by a shared passion for gaming, Civitas has since become a close-knit gaming community.

What is our main focus:
At Civitas, community comes first.
We organise regular meetups, learn-to-play events, tournaments, competitive and
casual gaming sessions around South Wales, We're always on the lookout for new ways to bring people together. We aim to help
promote healthy mental wellbeing through social events and by using gaming as a fun and engaging medium.
Everyone is invited to join our journey.
No matter what games you play, we believe a comfortable, friendly and welcoming space for all is crucial, and we intend to provide just that.
Our diverse tastes mean that we celebrate the entire spectrum of play. We are always enthusiastic to try something new and
support one another in discovering fresh new favorites.
